I was very happy to be back to school for the new year. I got better just in time. We actually started school last week, January 2, 2008. The only thing is, I was late on my first day, that's because I needed more sleep because I got used to sleeping late during the Christmas break. Daddy had to drive me there and I had to sign a tardy slip. When I got there, I had to proceed to my Language arts class, they already started writing a composition. We had to write something about our vacation. I was so happy to see my classmates and they were happy to see me because they thought I was absent. I greeted my teacher good morning with a smile then I sat down quietly and started writing. Some of my classmates were done and my teacher check their works and corrected them. Then I passed my paper. A few minutes later when everyone was done, my teacher called my name and told me and everyone I did great in my writing. She said I only made 2 mistakes and said this is not how a second-grader writes, it's more like a 3rd or 4Th grader. I felt so proud and happy and my classmates were happy for me too. But no one can be more prouder and happier than my mom!
